Can anyone suggest who/what the mobiles on 158.5650 in NB are?

I'm in Maine about a mile from Grand Falls across the border in NB.

Hearing a bunch of NFM mobiles chatting amongst themselves on simplex. Very informal, no callsigns, and, of course, they're talking one of the Acadian French dialects so common around here.

Any suggestion? Or translators? I have an MP3 I could provide.

My school taught Parisian French, this variant drives me nuts.

TIA!

I'm here a lot
Throwing this out as speculation.

Officially, the Regional Services in Chaleur like roads, waste collection would be on that frequency. But, I will defer to a local to help you.

Hi!

I have five minutes of them now, it's just under 6MB in size. How would you like it sent?

Upload them to WeTransfer, and post the link here. Or a Dropbox/GoogleDrive folder or something like that would work too.

Tough to make out the entire convo, but definitely some log truck drivers having a "CB conversation" about a bunch of nothing and asking if they can hear each other

I highly doubt that it's Chaleur RSC (Solid Waste). This sounds much more like two loggers who bought Baofengs or a pair of mobiles on eBay that were on some random frequency and put them in their trucks.

Quite probably - I find that there's all kinds of stuff that's going on in the area that's unlicensed. Oh well. And, again, thanks for trying.
