I acquired this antenna several years ago from a radio tech, all I was told is he thought it is a "UHF repeater antenna".

A SWR meter shows it is tuned best for 450 MHz (1:1.1).

Does anybody know anything about it? There is no manufacturer label on it, the only markings are "19112 A".

It appears to be very heavy duty, built out of aluminum and steel with a white ceramic capsule in the middle. The feedline runs up the pole and connects inside the ceramic capsule.

Any help in identifying this make/model is greatly appreciated.

Looks just like the DB Products low band 1/4 wave ground plane I have, except cut down for UHF. Other companies like Sinclair, Cellwave and Antenna Specialists make a very similar looking antenna. Its rated at "unity"gain and not considered a repeater antenna. The most common use around here is mounted upside down on hospital roofs for internal paging systems.

Thanks for the pointers, it certainly appears to be the DB-201 that prcguy steered me towards.

I have no use for the antenna and I'm open to sale or trades. Offers accepted via PM or at ashemonia@comcast.net. Proceeds will go towards my Icom V-8000 fund, so if you have one that this can go to as a trade, I'd definitely be interested in working something out.

The DB-201 specifications are posted below as found at the following link, the only variances are that it is cut to 450 MHz and the N connector has been replaced with a PL259.

I was going to trade this antenna for a IC-V8000, but the owner can't find the mic to the radio so I guess that deal is off...

I know a few other RR members were interested in it, I'm again open to sell/trade. PM me if interested.
