Some recent changes have been put into place at CFD:
1. Old Station 4 has been torn down
2. New Station 4 is open
3. A tower has been moved from station 9 to station 4
4. Station 9 is permanently closed
CFD now operates 8 stations:
1. Tower, Hazmat, Bariatric Medic Unit, Administration
2. Combo Engine/Medic
4. Tower, Combo Engine/Medic
5. Combo Engine/Medic
6. Combo Engine/Medic
7. Medic 7, Combo Engine/Medic
8. Combo Engine/Medic
10. Combo Engine/Medic
It should also be noted that due to manpower shortages, Combo stations may be closed on a rotating basis and the Medic portions of Combo units may be shut down with private ambulance companies running the medic calls.
