CB Antenna Electrocution Kills Two, Injures Two
Two men were killed and two more are in critical condition at a Tennessee hospital following an accidental electrocution in Mayfield Saturday.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to a home at 822 East College Street around 1:10 pm Saturday in reference to a man being electrocuted. Upon arrival, officers found two men dead behind the home and two other men badly injured.
Police said the men had been trying to move a large CB radio antenna when it fell into some power lines. The two injured men were taken to Jackson Purchase Emergency Room and then transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Police did not release the victims’ names. The incident remains under investigation.
