I think it would be cool if someone who lived near the park in Sandusky would host a feed of their FD/PD and maybe Park Ops. I used to work there and loved listening to them.
It could have Sandusky and other cities on it too.

I second that. In fact, feeds from any Ohio amusement park would be welcome and should prove interesting. Some years ago, I was able to receive transmission from Kings Island at my home. In recent years, it appears that park uses signals that don't get out very far.

There are three feeds for the county already - you might message one of them? I can hear the PD actually better than ever this year from Lakeside, I'm not sure if they changed something or not.

That would be the case for the ride operations, but their PD/FD would be allowed.

I am in the process of setting up a Cedar Point feed. I was going to do PD/FD and park ops, but I may have to limit it to PD/FD if it would be a violation here otherwise.

Excellent! Given the nature of the business, maybe an exception would apply for the ops frequencies.

I am hoping ops would qualify as well. I live in Cleveland and will have the equipment in the Port Clinton / Marblehead area, it's a bit of a drive if I have to later reprogram the scanner, so I'd like to know in advance if it's a problem. I will fill out the application and see what happens.

Application approved (with limited frequencies), streaming PC and scanner is setup and tested. I just need to move the gear to my father's house as I'm out of range. I'm doing that on Sunday, so if all goes well, the feed will be up before the end of the weekend.

I will also have another scanner covering the Ottawa County EDACS system (covers Port Clinton and neighboring cities, as well as the county sheriff), not sure if that's of interest to anyone, but it doesn't seem to be streamed yet.

Frequencies are in the database under Erie county. The limited set I will be feeding, 5 freq's total, will also be listed in the info section of the feed. It's mainly maintenance and administration feeds that will be excluded.

Sounds great! Ottawa's EDACS is not covered, just some of their VHF freqs. I'd love to hear it, ESPECIALLY if it was fire / mutual aid only (cops & EMS talk too much ;) )

I'll be up there next weekend and spending a week there.

PD and FD and EMS are private also, sort of. The PD gets its authority from the City of Sandusky. I knew a couple of guys on CPPD.

If it's been cleared by RR then you don't need to worry about further restrictions...
