Changes in Durham NC

I've been asked by a friend if there have been any changes to Durham PD/FD/DSO radios. Can anyone in the area of Durham let me know if you can still hear these agencies?

Was in Durham today and did log/hear traffic in the clear on existing talkgroups. However, I found a number of new talkgroups that were encrypted. The below talkgroups are not in the Radio Reference database;

P25, BEE00.5C9, 16874, 50, High, 8, 2024/01/24 11:48, ""
P25, BEE00.5C9, 16876, 50, High, 5, 2024/01/24 11:56, ""
P25, BEE00.5C9, 16880, 50, High, 46, 2024/01/24 11:58, ""
P25, BEE00.5C9, 16888, 50, Normal, 0, 2024/01/24 11:41, ""
P25, BEE00.5C9, 16907, 50, High, 3, 2024/01/24 11:57, ""
P25, BEE00.5C9, 16908, 50, High, 5, 2024/01/24 11:54, ""
P25, BEE00.5C9, 16909, 50, High, 9, 2024/01/24 13:05, ""

Some are being used by Durham Police Radio IDs 636xxx are police radios, I'm unsure who 639xxx and 645xxx radios belong to.

While I can't divulge any specific talkgroup usage you have a mix above of public works & public safety. Some are fully in the clear and some are using encryption either full or part time. They have all been around a long time. Nothing new and nothing has changed like I said in my earlier post.

Isn't everything in clear accept maby. Couple sherffic private and maby if police have the. Isn't mostly all dispatch in clear police sherffic fire and ems

While I am in Chatham County, I have no problem hearing the Durham side of Durham/Fayetteville.
