Charlotte Fire Dispatch Tones

I typically listen to Charlotte Fire Department dispatch on the CFD Alarm talkgroup (Charlotte UASI) and was wondering if the tones that precede each alarm are unique, and is there a list of tones per station? I have a Unication G4 and G5 pagers that I use for monitoring, but it would be nice to set an alert to go off if my local station is dispatched.

I have no idea if this is even possible, as the tones “sound” exactly the same to me, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask!

I believe CFD uses IP based station alerting prior to the dispatch audio.

Just as KO4RJX said, Charlotte doesn't use tones like Mecklenburg. They dispatch via IP alarms in each station.

Same way with Concord and Harrisburg Fire.
