Hello
Quick question, if you know, interested in what is "MVS" or "MDS" or "MDS" when an officer calls "off duty M?S"
Thanks
Also, any info out there on squad layout for call signs, 500 series, 200 series, etc? I figured out 700 is K9. When I was with Fairfax years ago, units were assigned patrol areas, ie 400 was the mason station with 400, 410, etc as patrol areas so you were assigned it at roll call. 940 had the entire station and adam, baker and charlie designations were used when the shifts overlapped.
Then again, those were the days when dispatch maintained call organization via handwriting on ibm cards and placed into slots.
Thanks for any info!
