By Good Will Fire Company No. 2 June 6, 2010 From approximately 6am until approximately 2pm on Sunday, June 6, 2010 the WCFD along with fire and EMS companies from Montgomery County, Bucks County, Delaware County, Chester County, and The City of Philadelphia Fire Departments participated in the annual regional task force drill. Companies participated in multiple scenarios including a building fire drill, a hot air balloon crash, a standpipe operations drill, and a water supply drill.
Air 52 filled air cylinders during the drill and Tanker 52 participated in a tanker shuttle drill. Engine 52-1 led by Captain Stafford participated in both the building fire and the hot air balloon crash scenario. Engine 52-2 was placed on stand-by to cover any real emergencies West Chester area as well as standing by at a public display event.
