Chinese Malahit-DSP SDR modes?

I'm playing around with one of the Chinese Malahit SDRs...



I'm attempting to listen to a CW transmitter and I'm a bit puzzled by the mode selections. You can select CW with either AM, USB or LSB. That seems odd since CW is none of those. There's also a dual side band selection that also only works with AM, USB or LSB. Has anyone puzzled out exactly what is going on?

I can't speak for this specific SDR but selecting the applicable SSB mode corresponding to the band you're listening to (LSB for below 10mhz or USB for above 10 mhz) works fine for me while trying to decode CW (as via fldigi)
