I have a Uniden BCD396XT which is one of the most awesome investments I've ever made.
I have had great success programming local city police and fire with corresponding GPS coordinates.
I have the larger agencies programmed as well however I am trying to get a grip on the GPS settings for them.
Has anybody been able to create systems for CHP, LAPD, LASO & LAFD and even ICIS that include GPS coordinates? There are so many channels and so many areas that I have no idea how to compile the information. Even though I have the freqs, I need to narrow and filter them geographically.
Any help you seasoned hobbiests can provide will be extremely appreciated. I use FreeSCAN as my prefferred application so if you can send me files for it even better. But, if you have .csv, .xls, tab-delimited etc., I can work with them as well.
