City of Passaic - EMS (Passaic County )

What freq does this agency use, I think the main Police channel correct. A spoke to a x member of there EMS last night and he told me they had there own channel, I think he is incorrect ?? Thanks in advance for any help and clarification on this.

Thank You sir that's what I thought, I needed to confirm by others on the BB. I think the PD calls them EMS 1, 2 and so on. Again many Thanks !!

I listened to Passaic PD last night. There was a few medical calls. I heard EMS 5 on Passaic PD channel.

BTW....did Passaic PD get new freqs and sold the old ones to Nextel for rebanding???

By the way, no one is "selling" frequencies to NexTel has part of the re-banding process. Frequencies are being exchanged so that the 800 MHz band is re-aligned to consolidate all two-way 800 MHz frequencies toward the lower end of the band and all commerical (i.e. NexTel) 800 MHz frequencies toward the upper end of the band. The different types of frequencies are currently intermingled throughout the band.
