Can you share you Freq's or is Army MARS also stuck with FOUO on the frequencies ??

No, we're still FOUO on those. In our case (Delaware), we share the repeaters with the National Guard. I'm starting to work on linking them right now using Raytheon NXU-2A network extension units.

One thikg I did notice on the NATCAP list is that recent Reports and what is listed in this document might be reversed. ie 148.1500 is 148.1250 and 148.1250 is 148.1500 :D

Updated Civil Air Patrol File from 2012

Repeater Info , Call Signs , HF Freqs , CAP Freqs Lineup R01-R66 Info

Download the attached PDF file for more details.

We removed the post by MtnBiker2005 that had a document attached due to the threat of legal action by the Civil Air Patrol

Apparently they did not(put it on the net),I think I located the origin of the
document.(original-regardless of who acquired it and how)

Wing Publications - National Capital Wing, Civil Air Patrol

About half way down - the doc is listed and it seems you need a
username and PW to access it.

Unclassified-Official use only,

Reading it over the info included I can see the sensitivity issues.

The claims in the letter seem a bit excessive. "Words used by CAP"?

The original file was posted on the scribd.com site. Just search for "Civil Air Patrol" or "NATIONAL-CAPITAL-Consolidated-Plan"

If anyone wants two zip files with lot more CAP stuff. Just PM and I will email them to anyone.

The Boy Scouts had secret files with sensitivity issues too.

Those have been ordered released by the courts.

I said sensitivity - due to personal info included...If it were a public safety issue all
holds off - but nothing included seems to heighten the degree of danger..unless bad guys are curising at 35k-ft at mach .98...

Total over reaction..Cannot use the term CAP...or Civil Air Patrol..Someone needs to inform them that noone reproduced their document.its in original form,PDF is tough,is every DL a unauthorized reproduction,,for profit?,,no.

copyright law here is not really applicable - in their view they are not to be spoken of,,what..
like Voldemort?
Im wondering if aviation publications have been getting these letters too,,how many articles have been written..

they are overreaching.

To add, this in No way reflects my thought on the RR admin pulling the doc..the bell's already rung and CAP cant undo it..
in fact they only made it more desirable to acquire..Eyes only stuff...How Exciting..LOL...

So if we post a link to CAP's public accessible site that holds the document, would that violate their questionable C&D letter? Since the document doesn't rest on RR server's and is only a link to CAP's own website how could that be an issue? :)

Your master site
I'd like everyone to switch back to the main topic which is discussing CAP communications. If you want to discuss the doc removal you can do it in the Announcements thread here.

Civil Air Patrol Documents Removal

Personally I don't think those personnel names & phone numbers listed in that plan had anything to do with radio scanner monitoring and should have been removed by any responsible hobbyists before posting, regardless of where it was originally gotten from.

I know some people in CAP and they are very dedicated to the Emergency Services Mission. They are willing to go out at any time in any weather including those fox hunts for ELT/EPIRB errant emergency beacons.

HOWEVER, the same people also complaining about a fairly large number of CAP's adult members fetish with playing "Military Dress Up" and acting as if they are in the military with terms such as "Commander" seeming tossed around. To get a somewhat complete understanding of this organization/memberships concerns ramble over to the website: CAP Talk - Index - CAP Talk, the unofficial Civil Air Patrol forum and you can formulate your own opinions based upon what you read there.
