Is there any discussion of Clark Twp. PD transitioning over to the NJICS system from there current UHF system.

It all comes down to maintaining control of the kingdom and cost. Go to NJICS, pay monthly subscriber fees and have to depend on State/County.

I went to a class not too long ago at Stamler academy in Scotch Plains. It was an active shooter & communications based course. Very informative. The lecturer made mention of how more than a majority of UC was on NJICS. There are a few stragglers that are still doing their own thing which honestly kind of surprises me given that Winfield made the move as did Roselle Park and Kenilworth. I've always stood by "if it's not broke, ,don't fix it" but then again I'm old school...

Garwood is another one I am surprised didn't make the switch (yet)

That would require money. Something Garwood as a municipally has never had much of. Even with grants, they wouldn't be able to make up the difference. It was in the works, then someone did the math.
