BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Clone me?

Can I clone a 996P2 from my 996XT?
Do I have to have a paid upgrade to listen to TDMA primarily (TxWARN)?
If I need DMR can I install at a later date?
Sorry if some questions are redundant, I think my brain memory stick gets formatted without notice

I don't know if you can clone them directly but you can use software; Freescan, Proscan, etc; to read the info from the 996xt, export that info and then import into a 996P2 file and upload it to the 996P2. You can install the DMR, NXDN and Provoice updates at any time, I owned my 536 for a few years before I installed the DMR update.

Yup, software make it easy. Dump your XT contents into your software of choice (ARC-XT, ProScan, FreeScan), edit it (if needed) and upload....

Be aware, though that FreeScan doesn't handle DMR or NXDN....
