Does anybody know if it's possible to clone the frequencies from an FT-60R to a. FT-2900R, and what type of connector i would need for the FT-60R? I'm assuming i'll have to build a custom cable for this if it's possible. Thanks in advance.

The 60 is a dualbander, UHF, & VHF, & the 2900 is a monobander for VHF only. You can't put the UHF freq's in the 2900 even if you could clone a Yaesu HT to a Yaesu mobile. GARY N4KVE

Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured as much, but i thought it couldn't hurt to ask the more experienced crowd. I was just looking for a faster way to program the mobile. The wife is already heated up about the mobile, HT, antennas, and a couple minor accessories i've purchased in a relatively short time, so i don't wanna rock the boat by aquiring software and cables on top of that. I'll just have to manually program it for now. I've only got about 40 repeaters plus some simplex frequencies to input. It shouldn't take long once i get used to it.
