Anyone got instructions on how to clone a Gre 500 & 600
and what type of cable do you need (radio shack part # ? )

Anyone got instructions on how to clone a Gre 500 & 600
and what type of cable do you need (radio shack part # ? )

You need a 1/8" stereo male to male cable. Not sure of the cat # at RS.

To clone them...

Connect the two scanners to each other's PC/IF port using the cable.

On the one that has the program you want to clone to the other, Follow these steps:

Press PGM
Press F3 (GLOB)
Press the Down arrow Twice to "Clone Send"
Press SEL

The scanner will then send it's programming to the other scanner.

When done, press Scan.
