Mike_Oxlong said:Channel 35 is a simplex channel and channel 90 is a duplex or repeatered channel with 161.235 being the input and 160.575 being the output.
I show channel 35 as being police in Toronto as well as the Montreal Hump.
Channel 90 shows as police in Halifax, Moncton, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Vancouver.
BTW, all this information comes from the Canadian Trackside Guide. If anybody is into railfanning at all, this is the bible.

All i have in for CN is the stuff listed under CN Rail of course. Will i hear pretty much everything or should I be putting in more?exkalibur said:Depends what you mean by channel. Are we talking about the AAR/RAC channel number, or the CN channel number? They aren't the same thing.
AAR/RAC channel 35 is 160.635
AAR/RAC channel 75 is 161.235
So. The poster who said CN Police hang out on Channel 75 was not incorrect. He was just refering to AAR/RAC channel 75.
