What are all the CNI and FLAG listings?
I hear alot when a dispatcher gives a drivers info back to an officer some times they say "flaged victor" or"foxtrot"
Some times i hear "xray" or "xray charlie"

Any one know what all them mean? If they go from A-Z

Very common question that pops up every 6 months or so. Perhaps this should be a sticky... These are broken into 2 different categorys. CNI being Criminal Name Index (essentially if you have been convicted of a crime in Ontario you will be CNI Positive in one of these categories), and Flags being... well caution flags. A much more detailed CNI list can be found at http://www.geocities.com/mr_cni/index.html

fips? fits ,fibs ????

in addition to hearing "positive CNI, caution Victor"etc. i from time to time hear the dispatcher say ""hits in the FIPS category" what is that?? EDIT found it Firearms Interest Police. (CPIC database) for people apply for or that currently hold firearms licences.

Also i hear a person is 10-60 but they have a positive CNI shouldnt they be saying the person is 10-61 with positive CNI in... that is jsut from seeing the 10 codes listed 10-60= subject negative , 10-61=subject negative but has record..?????

In teh back on my notebook the 10 codes are different here in CK
They are still 10 codes but lots dont match up
When the dispatcher tells a unit to switch to querry she says 10-39. All the places iv seen 10-39 means purse snatching

Im rather sure restriction xray is for people who need glasses to drive.

That image I posted is from an OPP notebook I believe. It's not uncommon for different agencies to have their own variation on the 10 codes. And yes, condition x-ray means they need corrective lenses.
