With the Cocoa beach air show taking place this weekend, what are some good frequencies to program? I already have the Thunderbird channels programmed and was listening to them a few minutes ago. I work near PSFB and want to be able to listen tomorrow and then during the show this weekend. Thanks in advance.

this is what I managed to catch yesterday:

The T-birds were on 141.175 and 235.350
The F22 demo team was on 277.700 (also possibly 376.025 and 384.55)
The Geico Skytyper was on 123.425
The P51 demo was on 122.475
Lucas Oil demo was on 123.150
A refueling a/c was on 363.900 - believed to be associated with the F22 demo team

note that the "air boss" freq was not located yesterday. I do not know how this is going to play with Patrick SFB being so to the flight area.

i would pay close attention to PSFB Tower 133.75/269.375 and the orlando approach freq 132.650

i would also listen to the Command post 139.300 (AM), 394.4, 311.0 and 321.0 freqs. I would guess more than a few weekend warrior types are coming down here for the airshow.... there are 2 T38's that came into KMLB last night.

In my years of attending more than a I can count air shows in 40+ yrs of monitoring, not much changes from year-to-year.
Which is why the Wiki's for these events can be very usefull

And if it does the best research is just having an extra radio in SEARCH

Even in it's day - Monitoring Times would do an annual Air Show guide - and if you apply your logic, it is/was out of date and useless.
Yet it is/was Not.

while this is good info, and absolutely agree that it could be a resource, most of those freqs have not been updated in 3-4 years. Personally, I find it too hard to dig info out of these wiki searches. YMMV.

Looks like a vintage TBM that was part of the heritage flight didn't quite make the runway returning to PSFB w/ an IFE
