I have a question about about some of the codes used. I been hearing some saying like clear robert or something else, is there a place where I can find what they are and/or what what they mean, and also for the regular codes are like code-4 which is pretty simple to find out what is.

With Weld County you'll hear Robert=report or Tom=Ticket for dispo codes and maybe Charles=cancelled for dispo code..there might be more but that'll cover the majority of dispo codes with them

more weld/greeley codes

weld/greeley uses a few fairly easy codes

ocean = o = unfounded
tom = t = ticket
george = g = gone on arrval
william = w = warning
sam = s = summons

basicly the word is phonetic for a letter (new york phonetics not ITU phonetics)
so its pretty easy to guess.

they also use some number codes mostly to discribe what type of responce to run
code 1 = routine
code 2 = emergent but no lights or sirens (sometime just lights)
code 3 = emergent with lights and sirens
code 4 = everything is ok (sometimes means no responce needed)
code 5 = need supervisor or need backup
code 6 = subject has a warrent
code 7 = break (there are difforent types of breaks: Code7m = meal break code7c = coffee break etc)

Anybody who knows any others I'd love to hear. I'm in colorado springs area this weekend, if anybody knows the codes down here it would be nice to know. (previously posted on that but so far no replies)

Check this link:http://www.bearcat1.com/radioco.htm. Not sure how up-to-date it is, but it can give you a general idea. Weld County I'm not sure, but I think they are pretty much straight forward as far as their convo.

As for Adams County that info is very outdated. It's been years since Northglenn PD/Commerce City PD shared a dispatch channel and the same for Adams Co SO/ Brighton PD. They are also still listing West Adams County FPD. They changed their name to North Metro years ago when they merged with Thornton Fire and kept the name when Thornton split away from them a short time later.
