The Skywarn code? Skywarn is a loosely associated, "trained" group of spotters for the NWS/NOAA offices in the area. The local NOAA office is in New Braunfels. Most of the Skywarn trained hams use 146.9400 MHz (- offset) CT 179.9 in San Antonio.
You might be thinking of the SAME codes which will open up on any receiver with that SAME code programmed in for local/pertinent weather alerts. The SAME code for every county in Texas can be found here. Bexar County's is 048029.
