I donot know how to use Excel 2007. Can someone explain how to copy and past from RR database to Win 97. I read that I have to use excel to do this?? I tried and nothing look right. Also I need to copy in talkgroups for the site. I am using Springhill Tower in Mobile County Alabama

If you are a paid subscriber here you will not need to use Excel. You can import directly into WIN97. However, if you're using an older scanner and software such as a PRO-92 or PRO-95, using Excel helps to convert the number of fields used by each scanner.

BTW, Excel 2007 will import directly from the database.
Open your web page listing the data you wish to import, then click in and copy the URL from the bar.
Run Excel 07 and click as follows:
Data (top center)
From Web (upper left)
This will open to your home page. Double click the blue bar at top of excel to open it to full screen. Paste the url you copied into the bar at top of Excel and click the go button to the right.
In the new Excel page with the database, click on yellow errols of data desired to import.
Click Import on bottom right corner then click on the Import Data dialog.
Before this new v3.0 clickable map database system, you could send excel directly to a database page. (still can if you have your homepage set correctly)
A little editing and the page is ready to copy/paste to Win97
