Anyone got any info on the cornwall pd?

I can't find any information on monitoring them. I see some discussion about OPP, but not cornwall community police. Are they monitorable with a digital scanner?

When were they last heard (on 142.035)? If possible, check
their cars to see if there are any new/different antennas.
I also heard they use (used?) 142.950 but never heard it.

It is possible they could have joined the new Ontario Astro
system although I have not heard anything specific. This was
supposed to be a feature of the system i.e. municipal forces
could get on-board. Just another possiblilty.

I'm through Cornwall a few times a year and may be in
the next few weeks, so might be able to check it out.

OPP are monitorable with a digital scanner, except those
operations which are encrypted. Same goes for MNR except
I've been told park operations are still on lowband in Zone
1 (south/east/central Ont.). Similar for MTO Enforcement
although I don't know if they encrypt.

I'm a newbie, my friend gave me his alinco dj-x3 he didn't want anymore. He was getting a digital radio to monitor the OPP. I've been trying to find the police frequencies, but all I get is static on every frequency anyone suggests. I thought maybe they could be heard with digital radios, because I know some people who swear up and down they can get the Cornwall Police. Then I read this:

Thanks DaveH. I put the scanner on 142.035, and forgot about it. 15 minute later I heard them. Looks like patience is the key.
