COLORADO SPRINGS - The terminal at the Colorado Springs airport has reopened after it was evacuated due to a threatening phone call.
The nature of the threat was not immediately known.
Airport spokeswoman Kelly Jackson said authorities are investigating.
She said the evacuation was a precaution.
The threat came in around 2:15 p.m. and several planes reportedly sat on the runway.
Additionally, Milton E. Proby Parkway going into the airport was closed and traffic was being held back at the airport. City buses transported staff into a safe area to get them ready for when the airport reopened.
