Sorry but I must disagree with the recent database change to the Colo Spgs/El Paso Co trunked system that says site 420/T0414 is in Woodland Park. T0414 is on Badger Mtn. I suspect its primary purpose so far from El Paso Co is to support CS Utilities and their water pipeline. T040F, with primary control freq of 867.675, is the sole system tower in WP and is so strong here it can be received on a Pro-96 without an antenna. 868.7375, primary control freq for T0414, is much weaker in WP. The opposite is true if you drive to Wikerson Pass (Badger Mtn) and test signal strength as PRO2006, my neighbor, has done. Per pro96com this evening, T0414's neighboring sites are T040F, T0413 and T040C while T040F in Woodland sees its neighbors as T040C, T0410, T0411, T0413, T0414, and T0415. Control freqs for T0414 are: P 868.7375, A 867.05 A 867.6375 A 868.6625.

Happy scanning,

What I should have submitted is that Site 420 was "heard" while in Woodland Park.

I was stopped briefly in town when I heard this Control Channel on 868.7375 MHz. I don't know that actual location of the transmitter yet, and did not have more time to determine frqs., etc.

I could also hear Site 415 in WP too.
