I was at Costco in Lake Stevens. and some of the clerks have handhelds. I think Kenwood ,not sure. I did a search on the FCC data base and came back with about 220 pages or so and they all are on the same frequencies
Dose anybody know what frequency they are using in Lake Stevens? and are they on DMR, by any chance?

I was there for only a hour and did not hear anything

The DLR1020/1060s are inexpensive. I recommend the DTR600/700 so you can see the RID (and other reasons) but for general monitoring discovery it's a fun challenge.

I would check the following frequencies that are licensed to Costco in your county. My local Costco used similar frequencies last time I checked. If you have a scanner with Close Call, running that while in the store is probably your best bet.
