Can't seem to figure what system Cunningham F.D. uses.. much less the talkgroups. When they talk to Aurora F.D., they're obviously patched from a digital system (likely DTR). Anyone have info?

Thanks!

Cunningham is dispatched by Douglas County SO on DTRS Id 1053 and use the Douglas County fireground talk groups.

E-61, 62 & 63 along with Medics 61, 63 and 611.

When they co-respond with Aurora normally Tac-3 is used and that's not patched they directly switch to it.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the info Jim!!

I'm still convinced Cunningham is patched to the Aurora TRS.. their audio when rebroadcast in the downlink direction on the Aurora TRS sounds like a digital uplink.. Listen for them next time & let me know what you think.

I've seen them switch the Aurora Radio to Tac-3 Mike while running calls with them.

and the audio quality on my end at least sounds loud and clear, non-patched.

and the audio quality on my end at least sounds loud and clear, non-patched.

I looked in engine 63 and medic 63 today and did not see an edacs radio mounted in the rigs. I also didn't see a portable edacs radio inside either rig, but that of course doesn't mean that there wasn't one stashed somewhere in the rig out of sight.

All of their rigs only have one 800mhz antenna mounted on the roof. So I am pretty confident that they are being patched. I had heard once before that all the comms between them were patched, but I have never confirmed that.

Cunningham and Parker normally use a patch from the Douglas DTRS to AFD T-3. The last time I checked, it was on DTRS 1862.
