The RR database for my state's Motorola Smart Zone system show the following Freq. Tbl.

Code:
               1 2 3
Base: 155.4150 157.2000 157.4700
Spacing: 15.0 12.5 15.0
Offset: 380 436 454
If I set this table up in the Pro-2096's extended tables, it misses the Voice Chnl. If I use number 3 only it works fine.

After hours of research, I cannot learn how this triplet or table works. If the tower I am monitoring switches ctl chnls will I need to use one of the other set of three?

Is it possible that one tower in the state-wide system uses on of the triplets while other towers use others?

Ultimately I want to program the scanner to work state-wide which is a system of 52 sites.

Figured that out but...

Okay, by importing the system via the Win96 I now see how the tables work.

Next Question, If I am in an area where the scanner can receive multiple CTL CHNLS, do those freqs. need to be in separate banks? Or will it scan all active ctl chnls in one bank?

Sorry for what must seem to be simple questions...

The SD system can only be loaded (correctly) in a Pro-96/2096 via the Win96 software as that is the only way you can access the extended tables. (In addition, don't worry about any step size issues, the rounding is okay.)

The Pro-96/2096 can indeed handle all of the CCh's in one bank and will work with the SD system just that way; however, it will work better if you follow the guidelines put forth in this sticky thread. I know some systems that almost require this "trick", the SD does not, but it will work better if you can squeeze it in. When I lived there I divided the state into 4 quadrants and set up the entire state in 4 banks using the trick, when at home (NE section) I did not notice any difference comparing the two radios (I own both a 96 & 2096) using the trick or not when traveling down I-29 but your mileage may vary. :)

Thanks, Now the last piece of the puzzle. How to fit all 800 & some odd TG's into the 2096... Looks Impossible, even with a fair amount of editing...

Another reason I had them in 4 banks by quadrants and I still left out the DOT for the most part.
