Out of Boredom I reverted back to some OLD frequency lists for the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex US Federal Gov't. Plugged many of them into the scanner and whooped up WIN500 and began searching and Logging. Wasn't long before the hits began (Well after I locked out the birdies)
Here is what I have found and verified:
418.6250/416.0500 PL: 156.7 DEA Dallas Center
417.7500/413.9750 PL: 156.7 DEA Dallas (Red River Counties)
165.2875/166.5375 NAC 650 BATF Dallas (Also seeing a 431 NAC)
164.6500/165.5875 NAC 001 USSS Dallas (Tango) Local Dispatch
167.0500/172.8000 PL: 173.8 FCC Dallas Mobiles
171.4750/172.2250 PL: 114.8 US Forest Service (Maintenance)
166.0000/167.1000 PL: 162.2 IRS CID Dallas (Investigations)
166.1000 PL: 162.2 IRS CID Dallas
167.2875 NAC 167 (Comes back as FBI Dallas - D/FW Airport. Traffic is in the clear with a helicopter rotor wash in the background)
And there is much, much more. I have OLD lists with Repeater inputs which seem to be true to date. I guess D/FW have not been on the High Priority list to re-band and digitize. I am hearing In the clear, Partial and full encryption. I have several UHF channels I am trying to scan but am so far from the metroplex that my VHF J-pole just won't bring them in. I'll probably swap to the UHF yagi this afternoon and see what I can pull during our rush hour.
If the WIKI Federal Admin would PM me a email address, I'll share some of what I have and see if we can narrow more of this stuff down.
