I'm surprised more in Dallas are not monitoring the City TRS. I'll be there this weekend and try to update what I find. No one seems to know a frequency for EMS at the State Fair. I'll work on that too.

The Irving Fire Simplex is listed on the Dallas Co page as: 866.65000 M Irv FD FG Irving Fire Simplex FM Fire-Tac but on the TRS page it says: Irving Fire Department uses 866.5500 simplex for some in building operations. So which one is it?
I was at the Fair today (but did not take a scanner).
EMS, on site, was being provided by AMR, not city crews. I have heard Dallas Fire Rescue dispatch one of the rescue units (the term Dallas uses for MICU's, or what some agencies call "Medic's" to meet the crews at the Fair to pick up a patient. AMR, as we were leaving, had two people, on basically a golf cart w/stretcher, responding to the old amphitheater. There was another person there, apparenty connected, with a backpack, directing them inside to where, presumably, the patient was.
Unfortunately, I quit monitoring AMR some time ago, when they lost contracts for handling EMS, & also public safety dispatch for several smaller cities. At one time, they also handled "Lifestar" medical helicopters. You might try 453.075 or 453.175.
I noticed a couple of updates for the fairgrounds related talkgroups on the city trunk system were done today. Dallas PD is going strong on Channel 12, 460.400.
Rather than drive, I took the light rail. Much easier. Have a good time at the Fair. Try the fried Frito pie.
