For some reason my scanner "PRO-651" sporadically will decode P25 perfect, I can hear the discussions, and then go to complete loss and a bunch of garbled noise and then a little later go back to understandable voice. This happens every few seconds or so. Not sure what's causing it. Never had this issue when I had my PRO-197. Help. Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to monitor? Knowing this will help us answer your question. Is it possible that you are listening to an agency where part of the conversation, for example dispatch, is in the clear and the mobiles are encrypted? There are many places where this is the case and might explain why your clear reception comes and goes.

P25 Anoka, MN dispatch. And does it to some other P25 ARMER frequencies. Works great on analog. But it seems like its have a intermod problem. Which I'm not sure how to fix.

Simulcast interference. Do you have just your county's frequencies loaded? Or, do you have more than that programmed? I use OFF under the Multi-site mode.
Also, less antenna equals better receive on simulcast systems.

I turned off multi site. I put the stock antenna back on to make it as small as possible. And turned on attenuate. Seems to be better at the moment. Still cuts out but not as bad. I'll keep you posted as I mess with it more.
