Denver Mode

Should I have Denver PD on Edacs or FM mode? I live up north (Loveland) and can not pick them up. Or am I just to far away to hit them? I only have antenna in back of scanner. Thanks,

Denver is EDACS, and you probably are too far away to use the stock antenna. I suspect that when the Democrat Convention gets into town that they will flip the majic switch, and we will all be unable to monitor Denver.

I'm in lakewood ... and I don't get much coverage at all with stock or 800Mhz antenna. I have a little better reception with the RS mag mount, but not much.

EDACS wide

I have it configured as EDACS wide. I can get them up here in Greeley, but reception is sometimes poor during bad weather.
