U/D Adcom and state also in the area, I am not digital so I don't know what channels they are on.

Ended at Conifer Landing Apartments 80th and Conifer area with a multi agency perimeter underway but took Adcom over an hour to set up a jps patch and now the audio is unreadable.

THORNTON - Residents and schools are taking precautions as police search for a suspect believed to be involved in a home invasion and high speed pursuit.

Police were following a white SUV Friday morning after a home invasion. The suspect drove erratically before getting out of the SUV carrying a bag and getting back into the SUV and driving to the Conifer Landing Apartments at 243 West 80th Ave. in Thornton.

Police believe the suspect knew the residents of the home that was invaded.

A perimeter has been set up in the area and residents are urged to lock their doors and report any suspicious activity immediately.

The Mapleton 1 School District public information officer says Western Hills Elementary is on a lockout which means all of the doors are locked but parents can drop off their children as long as they have proper identification. Global Leadership Academy is also under a lockout.

They've been on scene along with Westy and Thornton and Denver swat and k-9 for about the last hour.

Gosh the patch sounds truly wonderful.

Got 4 radios locked on each dept instead.

What is a "jps patch"? And why not just use a MA channel? Or am I thinking way to simple.


U/D 1525 Fox news is reporting suspect in custody. But they are also saying Sky fox was the only bird with a camera on the chase.

Police have two men in custody in connection with this mornings home invasion in the 4900 block of South Ulster St. An SUV was stolen and a police chase ended near 84th and Conifer. Officers have had an apartment complex surrounded since early this morning near 80th and Conifer and were finally able to make an arrest around 2pm. No word in the victims condition or if he was hurt.

It's neilson sweeps month. Gotta convince (BS) the viewers that they have "exclusive coverage" to get them not to watch brand X news.

Good to hear they got some bad guys. Denver usually does not chase to the ends of the earth. Must have wanted him really bad.
