...and if you ever get a chance to hike up there, take it! It's a great hike and the views are fantastic!

I am sure it is I have worked in a fire lookout for 4 yrs. I have been in the lookout many of times as hit was hit by lightning. Its cool but scary. I have called in close to 80 fires. One of the fires was the biggest fire in the USA . It was called the cave Creek complex. I do have pictures of it in the fire lookout group.

While living in California we used to go up to a little spot called Idyllwild to camp and/or fill up on artisan water. :lol: They have a fire lookout up there. From there you could see all the way down onto the Inland Empire, any further and you just saw smog! :lol: One day that will change...one day.
