Looking for some guidence on which stores in the metro-plex might be good to try? I am looking for a Astron Power supply. Thought I would see who might know where to go.

Texas Towers in Plano lists several Texas Towers, Astron Page located at 1108 Summit Avenue, Suite #4.
Fry's has a few, but their selection of Astron is limited. They do carry other brands as well.
Altex Electronics has several but don't carry Astron DC Power Supplies located at 3215 Belmeade in Carrollton (just west of Midway Road, Belmeade is the light just north of Addison Airport).

Texas Towers is a nice store, but unfortuantely it's only open M-F, 9-5. For those of us who work during those hours, you can either mail-order from TX Towers (I've done so) or check Fry's. Granted, Fry's amateur radio stock is practically non-existant (although they do carry some excellent Larsen antennas), they do carry quite the selection of power supplies and test equipment. My favorite geek store is Tanner Electronics in Carrollton.
