Excuse me I'm French speaker the word in french is "diagramme de rayonnement" i don't know exactly how you call it in english.

I'm making a program in VB where users will have to input the characteristics of the antenna he want to make. The program will provide the diagram of radiation and many order information about his antenna.

I encountered some problem during my studies:

- I don't know how to get the formula of diagram of radiation ( for all kinds of antenna)
- what's the most important information a technician needs before making an antenna.

I suggest you sit down with a professor from your electrical engineering department.
Preferable one who teaches "Waves and Fields".
