We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Digital Question - Middle of Transmission

I am assuming that when my 396 stops scanning right in the middle of a P25 digital transmission - the scanner was still busy scanning when that particular transmission began - that there is no way it will demodulate that particular packet of communication. Thus, no mater how good or which radio I'm using I'm always likely to still catch some bursts of digital only audio?

Right or wrong? Thanks in advance! - Ted
