Digital treshold level for Spartanburg simulcast

What will be a good digital treshold mode and level to use, I'm using a telescopic antenna to get Spartanburg Palmetto 800 from Union but it's distorted would a outdoor antenna for 800 help

I'm not sure if the treshold level is the problem are if I need a antenna to go on the scanner or one outdoors for 800

also spartanburg is simulcast, just that can cause problems

Sounds like you may be receiving two different towers which ARE COMING IN OUT OF SYNC.. An outside antenna could help or make it worse
