My 5 year old LAB599 TX-500, which I use about 2 months out of the year
(off and on) does not power on.
Checked every power connector with other radios , rechecked power going to radio.
I had made a couple contacts a day before and worked perfect on CW with tuned antenna.
Next day I go and try to power on and it doesn't power on.
Been in Ham radio for 15 years , so familiar with troubleshooting and expert in electronics.
Not so familiar with internals of LAB599 so wondering if anyone has had this problem.
I was thinking it could be a fuse inside the radio, but the schematic does not show any and I am hesitant to
open up the case until I learn a bit more.
There is one internal battery to save memory between boots but it should still power on
Searched the web for any type of support and did contact support@lab599.com hoping to hear something.
