DENVER - Police and Metro SWAT have responded to an area where they believe suspects of two armed robberies are located.
Officials say they have taken one person into custody but are awaiting a search warrant to gain access to the building where the other suspects are believed to be.
The suspects are thought to have been involved in two Burger King armed robberies where money was removed from the safes and tills, according to police. The first was Monday night at around 9 p.m. in the 5100 block of South Federal and Belleview. The other was on South Broadway and County Line Road at around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the suspects showed weapons during both of the robberies and an employee was able to identify one of the suspects.
No one has been injured and no other information was immediately available.
Mainly Dist 4 and Dist 4 tac is what I've heard so far.
