DMR Hotspot

I have an Anytone 878UV and an Anytone 878UVII and 2 Btech 6X2's. They are all programmed the same, sa well as I can tell, but only the 878UV works with the pi-star hotspot. all are able to receive the hotspot though. They are all able talk to each other in simplex. I have run out of ideas. Help?

Double-check the codeplug settings and make sure they're indeed programmed the same way. Are Btech radios assigned the same DMR ID? If not, set the hotspot to Public instead of Private.

The DMR ID can not be exactly the same.. Add a "17" to one of them and see if tat clears it up

The DMR ID can most certainly be the same. Each radio MUST have the same DMR ID. This DMR ID MUST match the ID on the hotspot.

You only add the two digits at the end if you are using multiple hotspots on the same DMR network.

OK.. So adding 2 digits makes it a DIFFERENT ID..
The server can not send data to multiple units with the same ID at the same IP address..

All four of my DMR radios have the same ID as my hotspot and all work together.

Make sure transmit offset/repeater mode set to 0, off.

You say they can talk to each other in simplex, can each hear the transmissions meant for the hotspot?
