So ever since I purchased my SDS100 about 6 months ago - I’ve never gotten a DMR One Frequency to eve work. Am I doing something wrong? I enter the DMR frequency under Site, I ensure the search ID is on. I enter a dummy TGID under channel and assure that tdma any slot is turned on. I also make sure the custom 1 is turned on for select service type

I’ve used frequencies that I know are DMR frequencies with heavy traffic in my area.

I’ve been able to successfully program mototrbo trunk system just fine

Any tips or ideas as to why I can’t get the DMR one frequency to ever work???

Thanks all

Did you select DMR One Frequency as the System Type in the drop down menu?

Yeah - I can do that this evening after work. I appreciate you being willing to take a look at it.

Just enter the frequencies as conventional, and as audio type All, to see that you actually can receive them with the SDS100.
When that works you can start to move the active frequencies to a OFT system.

Does DMR One Frequency work for others with an SDS 100?
You don't need to enter a dummy TGID for DMR OFT to work properly with ID Search enabled. I have quite a few OFT systems programmed into FLs with zero TGIDs entered and ID Search turned on. Service types need not apply if you're not programming direct from the RRDB unless you set them on your own after saving TGIDs by hand. Have you experimented with filter settings? Do you pick up traffic on your problematic frequencies when programmed conventionally or via quick search?

So i'm trying to upload my file - its a DMR One Frequency file but it has an HPE extension which is saying it wont allow me to attach a file with that extension?

In any case, i guess i could save it as a txt file and upload it that way?

The DMR One Frequency i currently have loaded is used a lot in my area. I can hear the frequency when it's entered on waterfall or even as a conventional frequency. I just don't understand why DMR one frequency has never worked for me.

Zip the file before you attempt to upload.

I don't and never have owned any Uniden scanners, I did not stay at a Holiday Inn last night and this is just a stab in the dark, so here we go:
The Channel Name is blank.

Mark's Scanners Easy to Read Manual says:

Channel Options
Channel Name Type in a name.
Channel Avoid This determines whether a Channel will be scanned or not.
(Off), or Avoid

Try entering a channel name.

so I’ve been trying that new OFT file you sent back and unfortunately it’s still not picking up any traffic. I have a pic attached just for example. You can see where my GRE is receiving all the DMR traffic regularly and no problems however the SDS has been completely deaf.

The picture is a little blurry, but is that a Cap+ indicator in the display on the SDS?
