(but I'm not "from the area and clearly have no familiarity with the area " so what do I know? )
Thanks Bill. I’m looking deeper there to figure out if it’s all conventional or some type of system. I’m right by it anyway! Never heard a peep before this random search!Joe try this company
which I see Whiskey has already shared
I find using the FCC DB for these better at
where you can narrow down by County as well
dunno why the URL for the FCC changed to "Security Violation Logged" - re added it
Thanks for that response. I do not have that software or gear to do so. I did capture the info, so I’m going to try a manual entry of the one frequency. I’ll listen for the others.License is for conventional DMR, which of course has never stopped any of these outfits from running Cap+ or whatever, which is technically trunking. Your best bet is to fire up DSD+ Fast Lane with a dongle to see how it's being identified. DSD+ will normally show if it's CAP+ or just a conventional DMR base station.

It's a low cost investment that often pays dividends when it comes to finding new stuff around you.I do not have that software or gear to do so.
Yes. I’m thinking I’d like to do that. I’m open to it actually. Thanks! It's a low cost investment that often pays dividends when it comes to finding new stuff around you.
You know how to search for FCC licenses, congratulations.
This whole post could have been avoided if the OP did that. Some don't understand there's a difference between a Radio Reference Database search and an FCC search.
And you know for 100% fact the OP didn't do that ???
Nothing in database search?
While I did do an initial DB search that was unproductive, it turns out I was familiar with this entity. There was sarcasm at first about the FCC search, then this!He said it in his original post. You clearly missed my point.
Hey, it happens. Sometimes it just takes a 2nd set of eyes to set you on the right path. Plenty of folks here on RR (whether from your area or not) are willing to lend a hand, others just troll and criticizeI am not an “idiot!” I do know how to do both searches, so I must’ve entered something incorrectly. Human error!
Thanks. Yes unfortunately!Hey, it happens. Sometimes it just takes a 2nd set of eyes to set you on the right path. Plenty of folks here on RR (whether from your area or not) are willing to lend a hand, others just troll and criticize
