Hello all,

I've been using my AnyTone 878 for quite some time using a hotspot. I would like to configure the radio to access repeaters directly. I think i understand the TS concept however i've been looking at some dashboard and this is an example of what i see

I understand that the TS1 column indicates the available TG's on a repeater. I don't understand what the info means in the TS2 column, can someone explain it to me ?

Many thanks

I assume that is from the DMRq.ca group. Contact the group admin. Looking at the full table doesn't make any sense to me. Best to contact the administration for complete understanding, but this is just a status dashboard, not what is available to be connected.

DMR allows two simultaneous "conversations" by breaking up transmissions into two separate "timeslots" While oversimplified, think of it this way: Conversation 1 accesses the repeater during the even seconds of a minute while conversation two accesses the repeater during the odd seconds. (in actuality, the slot times are much shorter that 1 second and thus indiscernible to the ear) So, each time slot can accommodate any of the talkgroups allowed by the repeater programming. Sometimes those talkgroups are fixed and sometimes they're dynamic. Again, it depends upon repeater programming. If the repeater owner publishes which talkgroup to use for which timeslot, just follow that. Your frequency and color code will remain the same, regardless of which timeslot is used.

I think my question was not formulated properly. I understand that both TS1 and TS2 are available and they contain TG's . What i meant is that i don't understand the information in the TS2 column.

As suggested by @alcahuete i will contact the admin to understand what it means

I misunderstood what you were asking. It doesn't make sense to me either. Go with your plan of attack.

No problem. English is not my native language and i understand that my original post was a bit misleading/unclear.
