Scanner Master is charging $75.00 for a DMR upgrade. I think I remember purchasing it for $50.00 a few years back. All that was required was I had to do the setup myself. Where is the cheapest place to purchase DMR ? thank you for your time

Create or go to my.uniden.com register the scanner and pay either $60 enter the key yourself and you are set to go.
The upgrade already resides in the firmware. All you need to do is to login at my.uniden.com and register your scanner to purchase the key to enable it. The key will be emailed to you. In scanner, do this to enter the key: MENU > Scroll to Settings > Press E > Scroll to Upgrade > Press E > Scroll to Upgrade DMR/MotoTRBO > Press E > Enter the key > Press E.

Ok. I see the Uniden price of $60 and I stand corrected. Thanks for correcting my erroneous information.

So, just curious, if the purchase was made by using Scanner Master;

Would Scanner Master register the radio using your info? Of course you would need to provide the necessary info to Scanner Master such as the ESN, your address, email, etc., and they in turn would purchase the $60 key using all your info so the key gets emailed directly to you?

And they would pay $60 and charge you $75

Still curious where you got $75 from.

I checked this morning and got a price of $75 from Uniden. Can you post the link to your pricing?

I, too, would very much like to see a link to an actual Uniden page where you claim you got that pricing. Like they say.... pictures, or it didn't happen.
