Now triple fatal

Three people were killed in a rollover crash in Jefferson County Wednesday afternoon near Highway 93 and just south of 58th Avenue.

The rollover appears to involve a modified pickup truck. It happened in a field off of Highway 93 near a housing area. Tracks could be seen leading up to the truck out of an access road to the housing development.

The area where the rollover happened appeared to be a place where people ride ATVs, though it is unknown what the truck was doing in the field. It appears to have flipped in a low spot in the field, 7NEWS reported.

It is unknown how many people were in the truck at the time of the rollover.

Oh my, thats a bad day right there for sure. Is that a head or an arm sticking out the driver side window?

Hmmm...oops. Yeah, looks like an arm to me (with a brown t-shirt)...considering the empty stretcher, empty body bag, and the way the crews are standing around, it definitely supports the idea that it is definitely a body still in the driver's seat.

I went into a gully like that on a suzuki 250 when I was a kid. Luckily I wasn't killed, but it is crazy to go driving around willy-nilly in tall vegetation unless you know the area VERY well.
It happens a lot, though.

No new driver law broken as the driver was 20 years old.
