DPD OmniX Multi Band Scanner Model Antenna

has anyone here got a OmniX Multi Band Scanner Model Antenna from DPD ???
just want to know it if its worth replacing my diamond D-130j discone with.

DPD site claims it's also more efficient as its tuned for scanners unlike a discone.

I don't have experience with that particular model. However I did purchase the 225-400 MHz MilTenna LP, and also the 700-1000 MHz UHF LP Model Antenna. The materials used, and the build quality were better than anything I've seen in my forty years of radio monitoring. I do not have any technical equipment for a scientific evaluation, but I was very satisfied with how they both performed. Service was excellent as well, and they were shipped quickly.

I have an OmniX. Excellent contruction. I'm still comparing it to my Scantenna, but I would be interested in other's comments about their results with the OmniX.

Buy from DPD. He knows his stuff, makes quality antennas, and you can believe any claim he makes about performance.

I would say replace the discone.
