Dropped Signal

Has anyone else experienced this. While monitoring the Baltimore City Fire Department, a Motorola Type 2 Smartzone system, in the middle of a transmission the signal will sometimes become garbled or just drop. This has happened with both the original firmware and the upgraded firmware. Any ideas or solutions?

I'm sorry. It's the PSR-500 and, no, I don't have the priority on.

The 500 has a very sensitive receive in the 800MHz band. I have a problem trunked frequency that goes digital or drops out when band conditions allow the same frequency to share voice channel from another trunked system.

I was able to identify it by quickly pressing manual, Func+tune, and parking on the frequency until the NAC was identified from the P25 data. The same frequency, on another occasion was also a control channel from another system and the SysID, was displayed after a few packets even with a 1-2% relative signal in the au (auto mode) frequency tune mode.
