I run multiple (4) SDRs to monitor local trunking systems in single receiver mode using FMP24 and DSD Plus fastlane. For some reason, 2 of the instances are using 25-30% and the other two are half that at 10-15%. Initially, all four instances run at 10-15% but after running for a few hours, the CPU usage doubles. It is the same two SDRs (genuine RTL-SDR) no matter what system I monitor. Does anyone have any ideas as to why these two instances are grabbing so much of the CPU?

FMP24 2.74

Added automatic detection of I/Q stream dropouts.
Added automatic enabling of extra CPU loading to stop I/Q stream dropouts.

Command line change:

-e0: Extra CPU loading disabled; FMP24 will report I/Q stream dropouts in console window
-e1: Extra CPU loading enabled
-e2: Automatic enabling of extra CPU loading if I/Q stream dropouts are detected

Default is -e2

Active key change:

Pressing E will cycle through the above three modes

You need -e0 on at least three of those FMP24 instances.

Thanks. Is that the latest update? I think I might be behind.

No, I'd say that was probably a year ago. Sounds like you're running that version or a newer one already. Updating isn't going to change anything.

That' was it. I just needed to update my files. Thanks much!
